Our client is progressing the detailed design phase of a major international tailings project and is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong piping and pumping systems experience to support urgent design delivery.
This role will focus on long-distance pipe runs and associated mechanical systems, working closely with procurement and construction inputs.
Detailed mechanical design of piping and pumping systems
Development of drawings and technical documentation
Inputs into procurement packages, installation manuals and O&M manuals
Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams during parallel design and procurement
Senior Mechanical Engineer with RPEQ
Strong experience in piping and pumping system design
Exposure to HDPE piping and rubber-lined steel pipe
Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced project environments
Immediate start on a well-defined project
Flexible hours and hybrid working arrangements
