QA/QC Welding Inspector (Shutdown)

We're looking for a highly skilled QA/QC Welding Inspector to join our shutdown team in Gladstone for an exciting opportunity with one of the world's leading mining companies. This role commences in October and runs for a duration of 4 weeks.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and quality assurance/quality control across the shutdown

• Review and correct contractor-supplied welding procedures and ITPs

• Review service provider accreditation and witness certification (sampling)

• Produce MDRs and closeout documentation

• Escalate quality or schedule issues as required

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• WTIA Certificate 10 – Welding Inspection (or equivalent)

• Relevant experience in shutdown activities

• Subcontractor coordination and management skills

• Dedication to health, safety, and environmental standards

• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical

• Full working rights in Australia
