Proposals Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Proposals Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy supporting Tier 1 mining clients. This is a permanent Brisbane-based role, working across complex proposals and tenders within minerals processing and EPC environments.

This opportunity would suit someone with a blend of technical, commercial and stakeholder experience, and we are open to candidates looking for a more senior position depending on experience.

Primarily, you will be responsible for:

• Lead and support the development of proposals and tenders across a range of engineering and technology projects.

• Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality submissions.

• Support commercial and contractual aspects of bids, working closely with internal subject matter experts.

• Manage proposal timelines, ensuring submissions are delivered accurately and on schedule.

• Assist with sales forecasting and pipeline tracking.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal systems and processes.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.

• Experience in proposal development, tendering or project coordination within mining, resources or heavy industry.

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand project delivery frameworks.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a structured environment.

• Exposure to minerals processing, EPC/EPCM or technology-based projects is highly regarded.
