A leading energy and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Pipeline Supervisor to support the delivery of pipeline and trenching works across Queensland.
This role suits a hands-on supervisor with strong trenching, excavation, and civil construction experience, capable of leading crews safely and productively in a field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise pipeline trenching and installation activities
Coordinate daily site operations, crews, plant, and subcontractors
Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and schedules
Enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards on site
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work activities
Complete daily reporting and progress updates
Liaise with project engineers, construction managers, and stakeholders
Skills and Requirements:
Proven experience supervising pipeline trenching works in civil, energy, or gas projects
Strong understanding of excavation safety, trench support systems, and underground services
Ability to manage multiple crews and maintain productivity in regional or remote environments
Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices
Strong leadership and communication skills
Previous experience on pipeline or linear infrastructure projects
