Mechanical Fitters (FIFO)

Gravity Resources is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a leading construction contractor on a major greenfield project at Olympic Dam, South Australia.

WHAT'S ON OFFER

• Short Term assignment 

• 2:1 roster (2 weeks on, 1 week off)

• 12-hour shifts

• Flights, camp accommodation, and meals provided

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation, assembly, and alignment of mechanical equipment and piping systems

• Flange management, bolt tensioning, and gasket installation

• Pipework installation and mechanical fit-up activities

• Reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, and mechanical drawings

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Australian Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter

• Construction Industry White Card

• Confined Space Entry (issued within the last 2 years)

• Working at Heights (issued within the last 2 years)

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• Previous construction, mining, oil & gas, or major project experience highly regarded

• Experience with flange management and piping installation preferred

This is a clean-shaven site due to respiratory protection and safety requirements. Successful applicants must be willing and able to maintain a clean-shaven face for the duration of the project to ensure compliance with site PPE and fit-testing requirements.
