We are seeking an experienced Fluid Management Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance, reliability, and operational performance of pumping systems and fluid transfer equipment across a range of field-based projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong mechanical knowledge, experience in fluid transfer operations, and the ability to coordinate maintenance activities in remote and operational environments. Extensive travel will be required as part of the role.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and performance of pumping assets, mobile equipment, and associated infrastructure. You will work closely with field personnel, contractors, and technical teams to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance activities across pumping equipment, vehicles, and associated assets.

  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and operational uptime.

  • Support the operation and optimisation of high-volume fluid transfer systems in field environments.

  • Assist with equipment inspections, troubleshooting, overhauls, and rebuild activities.

  • Ensure maintenance records, compliance documentation, and service histories are accurately maintained.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to field teams and contractors.

  • Assist with mobilisation, commissioning, and ongoing operation of fluid management systems.

  • Coordinate spare parts requirements and support inventory management processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance and maintenance efficiency.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work is completed in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • Experience working with fluid transfer systems, pumping equipment, or industrial mechanical assets.

  • Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps and associated fluid handling equipment.

  • Experience supervising maintenance activities and coordinating field-based work crews.

  • Sound mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.

  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and equipment specifications.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • A proactive approach to safety, quality, and operational performance.

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in remote environments.

The successful candidate will be Chinchilla based as this is a Monday to Friday position.
