Electrical Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a client-side capital projects team delivering a diverse portfolio of brownfield projects within a large mining operation.

This is a long-term FIFO opportunity working a 4 days on / 3 days off roster, leading the safe delivery of electrical infrastructure and upgrade projects from planning through to execution and commissioning.

About the Role

Reporting to the Capital Projects Superintendent, you will manage multiple electrical projects across an operational processing environment. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, contractor management and project execution experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical capital projects from concept through to completion.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and site stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Manage project scope, risks, procurement and reporting.
• Support commissioning and project handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with site standards and statutory requirements.
• Drive quality, safety and continuous improvement throughout project delivery.

About You

You will bring:

• Proven experience delivering electrical projects within mining, heavy industry or infrastructure.
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with brownfield project execution.
• Knowledge of HV/LV systems, power distribution and industrial electrical infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced project environment.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Australian working rights.
• Previous mining or heavy industry experience.
