Gravity Resources is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the Gladstone operations of an established industrial business servicing customers across the resources, construction and heavy industry sectors.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role with responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the branch, including warehouse and distribution operations, inventory, purchasing, staff, customer relationships and general branch operations.
We are open to candidates who have already worked as a Branch Manager, as well as experienced Operations, Warehouse or Distribution Managers looking to step into broader branch responsibility.
The successful person will need to be comfortable working within a technical product environment and able to pick up new products, systems and processes quickly.
A big part of the role will be understanding how the branch currently operates, identifying areas for improvement and putting practical plans in place to improve organisation, efficiency and overall performance.
While this isn't a sales-focused position, you will have regular interaction with existing customers and need to be comfortable representing the business, building relationships and identifying opportunities as they arise.
